About Victor Waters, M.D., J.D., F.C.L.M.

Law-4-Docs founder Victor Waters, M.D., J.D., F.C.L.M. has more than 25 years of clinical experience in both internal and emergency medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University in Providence, R.I., medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University Law School in Newark, N.J. He is board certified in internal medicine and a non-practicing attorney admitted to the New York State Bar.

Dr. Waters is Board Certified in Legal Medicine through the American Board of Legal Medicine and a Fellow in The American College of Legal Medicine (ACLM) the country’s most prominent professional society that is focused on the intersection of law and medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr. Waters has lectured about his passion: reducing malpractice risk. Currently Dr. Waters is Chief Medical Officer for a tertiary medical center located in Los Angeles California and has served on several national committees, including one addressing tort reform. Dr. Waters holds an appointment as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine.
